Nier Replicant’s side quests aren’t so much difficult as they are tedious. The majority of them require you to collect random items, and a few of them demand you to locate Goat Hide. It is one of those items which you can’t buy from any shop. You may even be unsure where they will locate goats on the map. So here’s how to get Goat Hide and where to find its location in Nier Replicant.
How to Get Goat Hide?
To get Goat Hide in Nier Replicant, you need to find snd skin goats. It’s worth noting that even the goat meat is a common item the Hide is a rare item. So the drop rate for Goat Hides is very low. You will have to kill a significant number of Goats before receiving the required amounts of Hides per quest.
Where to Find Goat Hide Location in Nier Replicant?
To find Goat Hide you need to go to Eastern Road. You may have to grind the Eastern Road many times to have enough Goat Hide, but this should serve in your favor because this area often spawns a lot of many other useful resources.
Goats can also be seen in the Northern and Southern Plains regions if you haven’t yet completed Part 2 of Nier Replicant’s campaign. But in both of these areas, Goat Hide has only a 30% chance of dropping from Goats. This is significantly lower than the drop rate from goats in the Eastern Road region.
The two quests that require Goat Hide to finish are “The New Merchant in Town” in Part 1 and “The Damaged Map” in Part 2. So while you are collecting Goat Hides for the first quest you should collect some more before continuing the story. Because in part 2 they’ll be fewer goats in Eastern Road. Each area has a limited number of Goats, but you can leave the area and come back to make them respawn.
