Broken batteries are a rare drop as they can be found in one place only. Broken Batteries are obtained as drops from the flying robots at the Junk Heap. The flying robots can be found at level 1F of the junk heap. Be alert when you enter the Junk heap as it is full of different kinds of robots. Once at level 1F you will 2 flying robots charging towards you followed by many more. Make sure to maintain distance from them and take them out one at a time. Level 1F is very similar to a hallway so your screen might get overwhelmed. In such cases be alert enough to grab the broken batteries as with so much going on you might miss collecting the drop.
The flying robots can also be found in the B2 area of the Junk heap. In case you couldn’t find enough broken batteries at 1F you can always try at B2 level. Broken Batteries are needed to complete side quests like “The Shade army” and “The Masterless Lighthouse”.
