Check out all the differences between the Deluxe and Standard Editions of New World below. We’ll first see all of the elements that are exclusive to the Deluxe edition.

Rock/Paper/Scissors Emote Set

  • The Rock/Paper/Scissors set is a new emote set that is exclusive to the New World Deluxe Edition. You can either play it with your friends or use it as a tool when you make difficult decisions.

Woodsman Armor Skin

  • This new skin in the Deluxe version of the game will help you camouflage when you are in a forest. At the same time, it’ll also help you stand out when you are in a crowd.

Mastiff House Pet

  • This is another exclusive element in New World Deluxe. You will get access to its housing at level 20 in the game.

Woodsman Hatchet Skin

  • You can use this exclusive skin to achieve the complete Woodsman look.

New World Digital Art Book

  • This book is a collection of all of the wonderful concept art from the making of New World.

These are all of the elements and items that are exclusive to the Deluxe edition of New World. These are only cosmetic differences. They do not affect your gameplay in a manner that is advantageous.

Should you buy the Deluxe Edition?

  • As mentioned earlier, the items that are exclusive to the Deluxe edition of New World are purely cosmetic in nature. You will receive a pet, a couple of skins, a book, and an emote set in this edition of the game.
  • The price difference between the Deluxe and Standard editions of New World is only $10. If you do not mind spending this small difference, then you can go ahead and purchase the Deluxe Edition.
  • However, if you do not mind missing out on a few cosmetic items, then the Standard edition is perfect. Playing it will not let you feel like you are at a disadvantage.
