Fans are excited for yet another instalment of the NBA series and are curious to know how to get NBA 2K22 early. Here’s what you need to know about early access, demo, preload and download file size.
How to Get NBA 2K22 Early & is there a Demo?
NBA 2K22 is releasing worldwide on September 10th, 2021. Unfortunately, there is no particular early access date for this game as of now because we are already too close to the launch date. There is no demo option available too which is a bit of a letdown. It would have been great if players could get a sneak peek at the 2K22 experience before purchasing the whole game.
But you can pre-order the game from the official website to get various bonuses and you can check out the 3 editions for PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Series X|S. The versions are Standard, a Cross-Gen Digital Bundle and a special NBA 75th Anniversary Edition.
To be able to jump into the game as soon as possible, you can pre-order and then preload the game for PS4 and PS5 on September 8th, 2021. Xbox players can also preload it right away. Keep the game downloaded and as soon as it launches as per your time zone, you will be able to play right away. As of now, there is no information about preloads for Steam and PC.
NBA 2K22 Download File Size
The space that you need to keep vacant for NBA 2K22 is as follows:
- PS5 version download file size is 108.897 GB
- Xbox Series X|S download file size is 115.56 GB
- Xbox One download file size is 84.39 GB
- Nintendo Switch download file size is 45.2 GB
- PC download file size is 103 GB
These are all without the day one patch so expect some more GBs to be added.
The time it takes to download will depend on your internet speed but since it’s a big download, it’s best to preload and keep it ready to play for launch. You can use your Xbox app to find the game and select Download to Console.
That’s everything about NBA 2K22’s early access and preload information. Stay tuned for more on Gamer Tweak!
