The Elite Rogue Skeleton is an upgraded version of the standard Rogue Skeleton enemy. It deals significantly more damage, has higher health, and appears only in advanced zones. Because of its elite status, it is commonly farmed by mid to late-game players who want faster leveling, better loot, and strong crafting materials. Where to Find the Elite Rogue Skeleton in The Forge
The Elite Rogue Skeleton is found in the Volcanic Depths, which is part of World 2, also known as the Forgotten Kingdom. This means you cannot encounter this enemy in the main starting world. You must first unlock access to World 2 before you can begin hunting it.
Once inside the Volcanic Depths, Elite Rogue Skeletons commonly spawn in:
- Lava cave corridors
- Volcanic tunnels
- Open magma chambers near enemy clusters
They may show up along with other enemies such as Blazing Slime, so expect tougher fights. Plus, you will have to dodge carefully because the lava around you is deadly, of course. Bring your best weapons, pickaxe, and armor before heading here.
How to Reach the Volcanic Depths
- To reach the Volcanic Depths, you must progress far enough in The Forge to unlock World 2 access.
- You need to hit level 10 and complete all of Sensei Moro’s quests to get there by using a Portal.
- Then, you need a Pickaxe that can break Basalt Vein nodes, so at least 78 mining power. The Mythril, Lightite, and Magma Pickaxe are all good options.
- With it equipped, head into the Ruined Cave and turn to the Ashen Passage.
- You will see some Basalt Vein nodes there – start destroying them and once done, you will gain access to the Volcanic Depths.
Elite Rogue Skeletons respawn regularly after being defeated. The respawn time is short enough to allow continuous farming if you remain in the area and this makes the Volcanic Depths one of the best locations for grinding both XP and resources once your gear is strong enough.
