God of War Ragnarok is finally here with a plethora of new gameplay elements and mechanics. The realm of Muspelheim has also made its return into GoW. Similar to the previous God of War (2018), you will unlock it later with two seed halves in GoW Ragnarok. Muspelheim Seed Locations in God of War Ragnarok – How to Unlock Crucible
You can find both halves of Muspelheim seeds at the Svartalheim in GoW Ragnarok. You can find the first half at the Modvitnir’s Rig and the second one east of the Dragon Beach. So, here’s how to get to the first halve of the Muspelheim’s seed:
First Muspelheim Seed Halve Location
You can find the first Muspelheim seed halve at the Bay of Bounty. You can get this seed in a Legendary chest as you progress with the Quest for Tyr, story quest.
- When you reach the Bay of Bounty, head to the western shores to find the Modvitnir’s Rig.
- As you reach there, climb towards the wooden structure on the right to find a Legendary chest.
- You need to throw your Leviathan Axe at the spinning lever to unlock the path to a wooden platform. Then, climb your way to the top to find a Legendary Chest.
- Finally, open the chest to get the first half of the Musphelheim Seed.
- You will encounter several Beast-type enemies like Wild Wretches at the top. But defeating them should be a cakewalk for Kratos.
Second Muspelheim Seed Halve Location
You can find the second half of the Muspelheim seed at the Alberich Hollow in Svartalfheim. Despite both halves being located in Svartalfheim, you have to progress and complete the Forging Destiny story quest to get this one. That’s because you need to get the Draupnir Spear and unlock the Dragon Beach region.
- Head over to the Bay of Bounty region but this time head in the east direction.
- Upon reaching Dragon Beach, you need to head east where you can encounter several Grims and Tatzelwurms.
- Climb your way upwards using the sprawling chain to your left. Then, use the Draupnir Spear to climb your way up.
- Head left and swing to the opposite side of the wooden platform. After that, you need to simply keep on heading left.
- As you pass through a cave, you will notice a Legendary chest hidden in bushes. You can use a Firebomb that can be found in a nearby location to explode it.
- Then, open the chest to get the second half of the Muspelheim seed.
How to Unlock Crucible in GoW Ragnarok
Once you have found both the Halves of Muspelheim Seed, you will unlock the Crubile quests. You can use any Mystic Gateway to get to Muspelheim or Crucible quests. These are a series of challenging trials put forth by Surtur to test out your skills. You can find these quests under the Favours section. As you complete these quests, you can also earn several rewards and resources to craft the Muspelheim armor.
