Modern Warfare 2 has a plethora of weapon camouflage that not only makes the weapon interesting but also helps in being somewhat hidden from your enemies at certain times. With Infinity Ward providing the update for season 1, they unintentionally revealed that it might be possible to mix camos. Hence, many MW2 players are wondering how to mix camos. Since you are here, you have come across the same thing that is making rounds in the community and are excited about it. You won’t have to look any further as this guide has everything on the Camo mix in Modern Warfare 2.
How to Mix Camos in MW2
As anyone would expect, there are a few conditions and requirements for this to happen. You cannot simply mix Mastery Camos like Gold, Platinum, and others. However, if you have the weapon blueprints, you can change the camo on a few attachments. For instance, you can change the camo on the optic and barrel and the body and stock will remain the same as the base one.
Technically, you are not mixing them but simply adding them to your blueprint that makes the output look like a mix. So if you are wondering how to mix your Mastery Camos in MW2, that is not possible at the time of writing. But you can experiment with the base camos if you have the weapon blueprint. The process to do that is to head over to the Gunsmith for the particular weapon and then toggle to the Customize option next. While you are here, select your weapon and look for the Camo option.
We will find out soon enough if there are any changes in this. Since Infinity Ward has not officially announced it while we write this guide, we cannot confirm whether you will be able to mix Mastery Camos in Modern Warfare 2. We will update this guide as soon as there is some information.
That’s all there is on how to Mix Camos in MW2. While you are here, make sure you check out our Modern Warfare 2 guides for more content with Gamer Tweak.
