Diamond Bug Fix in Minecraft 1.17
At the time of writing this article, there is no fix available for the diamond bug in Minecraft 1.17.10. Mojang accidentally added the new diamond level in Minecraft 1.17 as below level 0 on bedrock. This is why diamonds rare after Minecraft 1.17.10 update, but on the java edition, the bug is not affected. That’s why the previous diamond coordinates won’t give you diamonds now. This will affect you especially if the map was created after the 1.17 update. The devs are aware of this issue and currently are working on a fix. Replying to a tweet Mojang said

In their survival words, many gamers are having difficulties obtaining diamond ores. Previously, diamond ore veins were employed to create one piece at a time. Diamond ore creation, on the other hand, is screwed up in Minecraft Bedrock. some gamers have gone three chunks without discovering a single diamond vein. Apperently there is a bug rn in minecraft that started today where diamond ore doesnt spawn. So I guess I wont be hunting for those for a while lmao

It's not just the diamonds that are bugged. Candles, glow squid ink azaleas are bugged along with about 50 other things listed in their 1.17.10 breakdown for whenever they decide to drop it.
