The Midwinter Blight event (which runs from December 12 to January 2, 2024 10 a.m. PST) is here and it brings along quite a few rewards. This takes place in the snowy region of Fractured Peaks where players can participate in winter-themed activities and collect various freebies including festive cosmetics and Shard of Dawn Aspect. To get them all, you’ll have to grind quite a lot but if you’re unsure of how to go about it, here’s a guide that has all the details you need.
Here’s a list of all the Midwinter Blight rewards you can collect in D4 and what you need to do to get them. Do note that this only works on the Seasonal Realm but characters in all World Tiers can experience this event.
How to get Midwinter Proofs in Diablo 4 Midwinter Blight event
- When you open the map after the update, you’ll see a purple region in Fractured Peaks which is where you need to explore and slay enemies.
- In this area, unique blight enemies will show up that you have to kill to gain event drops. Once you have enough resources, go back to Kyovashad, and exchange them at the Collection’s Table for Midwinter Proof.
- This is the main event currency that will help you purchase cosmetics and other shop items.
- Note that the drops are called Blighted Fragments (obtained by killing Blightfiends), Lost Heirlooms (obtained from Frigid Husks) and Red-Cloaked Trophy (obtained from Red-Cloaked Horror).

Farming Tips
- Focus on Blightfiends: The drop rate of Blighted Fragments is pretty high so focus on grinding them first.
- Group up with others: You can either ask a friend to join your party or invite a random stranger lurking in the area. This will help you get more drops faster.
- Switch up your build: Test your survivability and damage against these festive enemies and make changes in your build so that you can take down mobs easily.
