What is A Palico?

Palico is a companion that will help you fighting against Monsters using their own weapons, and Equipped Moves. Instead of using their traditional attacks, Palico loves to help hunters by providing healing items, setting traps and bombs.

Notably, Palicoes in Monster Hunter Rise have been divided into five Support Types — Healer, Assist, Fight, Bombardier, and Gathering. Each and every Palico Support Type has its own specialty and it is of utmost importance to know which one is the best.

Which Best Palico Support Type to Pick?

  • Healer: It provides healing assistance to hunters
  • Assist: It prepares traps to ensnare monsters
  • Fight: It supports the hunter by fighting alongside them
  • Bombardier: It uses bombs to attack monsters
  • Gathering: It gathers rare items while exploring the map
