MH Rise Fungal Frustrations: How To Find Unique Mushrooms In Monster Hunter Rise

Fungal Frustrations is a Monster Hunter Rise (MH Rise) quest in which you must locate Unique Mushrooms. You’ll need to gather eight different mushrooms, all of which can be found in Shrine Ruins map. Since these mushrooms are special to the mission, you won’t be allowed to use any other normal mushrooms from the world. How to Find Unique Mushrooms for the Fungal Frustrations Quest in MH Rise?

The easiest way to find all of the Unique Mushrooms for the Fungal Frustrations Quest in MH Rise is by visiting the green quest markers that lead you to Mushroom Colony nodes. During this quest, you will find that each mushroom colony will drop two Unique Mushrooms. So you don’t have to visit the entire colony locations to complete the quest.

If you don’t have the quest markers active, you can view their positions by selecting filter mushroom colony from the Special Items options in Icon List Selection. You can also refer to the map above to easily find them while playing the game on your Switch. The red squares are the locations you can find them. Some of the red squares overlap each other as there are clusters of mushroom colonies near to each other in those spots.

The majority of them are found in the middle of the Shrine Ruins map. You want to go up the right side of the Shrine Ruins to Area 7 and then left to Area 8. Between areas 8 and 7, there is a small pathway that leads to the map’s middle. You will find several mushrooms by following the left or right paths once you arrive at this spot on the map.
