The Softlock will come after you beat the first boss in the game. After this you will arrive in Cateris. However, once you get here you will see that most of the loctions in Artaria are blocked off. When you will face such an issue in the game make sure that you start taking aim at the floors and walls. Most of the times there will be a situation where the game just has hidden pathways or such.
