Slime Rancher 2 is a First-Person Life Simulation Adventure game created by an American indie studio, Monomi Park. You play as Beatrix LeBeau, a Slime Rancher, and explore a new frontier in the Slime World. The game has a huge map consisting of wide open Fields & twisting Cave Systems. As such, having a Map can be really handy. But as you start the game, Clouds cover most of the map. You will unlock them by discovering the Data Node of the area. All Rainbow Fields Map Data Node Locations in Slime Rancher 2
Each region of Slime Rancher 2 has a Map Data Node that unlocks & dissipates the Clouds on the map. They usually have three Data Nodes and you can get to them very easily. You can find them mostly on top of high elevations which are accessible by foot. Having a Jetpack is very useful and can cut the Travel time by quite a bit. You can check out our How To Unlock The Jetpack in Slime Rancher 2 for more information. Here are the Locations for All of the Rainbow Fields Data Nodes in the game as shown in the image above.
All the two Data Nodes on Rainbow Island are located at a higher elevation. Rainbow Fields has only 2 Map Data Nodes as it is the beginning area & the third area is already unlocked for you. To get them, you will need to either find ramps going to the tops of the Rocky Structure or get the Jetpack. Once you get to a Map Data Node, it will instantly unlock that region for you.
