Minecraft’s 1.19 update The Wild has been revealed and it gives the game a massive swamp update. The update will be coming to you in 2022 but many interesting things have already been revealed including mangrove trees, frogs, fireflies and more. What can you expect in the Mangrove swamp biome? Here’s everything that is known right now.

Minecraft 1.19 Mangrove Tree Swamp Biome

Although there are mods available that add Mangrove trees to the swamps, you don’t have to use them after the Wild update. As you can see in the video below, the Mangrove swamp is packed with lots of trees placed close to each other with lilypads floating on the swampy water as well. This is where you can find frogs and tadpoles chilling out. The vibe is pretty creepy which is exactly what we can expect from this biome.

How to Plant Mangrove Trees of your own?

How does the Mangrove tree generation work in Minecraft 1.19? Well, you need a Mangrove Propagule/Sapling for it. Once you plant it underwater, you will see a grown Mangrove tree in that area soon enough.

How to get more such trees, you ask? All you have to do is use the Propagules that are hanging on the tree. They will fall down into the water which is when you can get them. The trees themselves will have vines hanging down and the roots will be visible above the water as well.

Minecraft Mud Blocks

Players will get mud blocks in the swamp biomes and you can also make them by adding water to dirt. If you use a drop stone, you can make renewable clay from mud. Plus, you can also add sand and wheat to craft bricks.

Mangrove Wood Types and Variants Revealed

With the addition of Mangrove tree, players can expect different wood types. You can get logs, planks, doors and more.
