Mafia: Definitive Edition Is A Remake With New Gameplay, Cutscenes; Mafia 2 & Mafia 3 Available Now

Mafia: Definitive Edition news blew the roof off when it was announced that our favorite crime family title is coming back with upgraded graphics but one thing that was on everybody’s mind is if Mafia the original would just be remastered of would have additional content.

Well, now it is confirmed that the definitive edition of Mafia 1 will not only be a remastered version but it will also be built from the ground up, making it more in-line with the current generation of games with exquisite graphics and aural experience.

Mafia: Definitive Edition will be a remake that will also have new scripted dialogue and backstories; this is a clear indication that not only there will be a huge expansion that has been rumored but these new lines should give characters a well-rounded personality.

Hangar 13 has also revealed that it is preparing the first edition of the game again on the graphics engine that powered the Mafia 3 title. Thanks to this, we can count on better visuals on modern equipment, which can be seen with the naked eye on the screens attached to the message.

Along with that, there will be new cutscenes, new gameplay sequences, and features that have never been experienced before in the game. The soundtrack and voice statements were also re-recorded, and new features in outdated mechanics were also introduced.

The owners of the first chapter of Mafia game can also count on Angelo’s outfit and his taxi to appear in both Mafia 2: Definitive Edition and Mafia 3: Definitive Edition.

The title will be available in a standalone format at a price of $39.99, while the remaster of the second episode and Mafia III will cost $29.99 each. The complete package will cost $59.99.

Recall that Mafia: Definitive Edition will release on August 28, while Mafia II: Definitive Edition and Mafia III: Definitive Edition is now available on PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
