Check out our guide on how to fix the low FPS issue in Digimon Survive.

Digimon Survive is a Visual Tactical/ Novel video game that involves fictional Digital monsters popularly known as Digimon. With its recent release, many players are running into issues while playing the game. While there are different bugs and issues, there’s one that can annoy players the most. That is low framerates or FPS that occur during a battle. Not to worry, here’s our guide on how to fix the low FPS or frame rate issue in Digimon Survive.

How to Fix Low FPS Issue in Digimon Survive

This issue can occur due to several reasons. If you are using a Console and facing such issues, we suggest increasing the battle speed or removing the attack animations. But make a note that this will skip most of the animations during a battle. While PC players can use these methods, there are two more potential alternative methods to fix the low Frame rates or FPS issue.

So, you need to check whether your PC is meeting the minimum PC spec requirements. Here are the minimum requirements for Digimon Survive:

  • Processor: At least Intel Core i3-6300 or AMD FX-4350
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GT 1030 or AMD Radeon HD 7850
  • Storage: 15 GB of available space

Make sure to set the graphics or other settings low for a seamless experience. Mentioned below are the recommended settings:

  • Processor: Intel Core i7-6700K or AMD Ryzen 3 3300X
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT
  • Storage: 15 GB of available space

You can set the graphics or other settings high.

Alternatively, low FPS issues can also occur due to some files being corrupted. Follow these steps to Verify the integrity of game files:

  • Launch the Steam client or launcher and head to the Library.
  • Right-click on Digimon Survive on your left pane and select the Properties option.
  • Now, select the Local Files tile to your left.
  • Hit the Verify integrity of game files option.

If your game data or files are corrupted, this method will re-download those files. While it may take some time, it should hopefully fix the issue.

For the last alternative, we might have to wait for a while until Bandai Namco releases a patch or update to resolve this issue.
