In Roblox Fisch, a whirlpool is a gateway to a hidden area called Vertigo. Not all whirlpools are created the same, though, because you will encounter normal whirlpools on the way to Ancient Isle. Getting caught in those whirlpools will directly sink your boat and you will have to swim towards the island. However, the beneficial whirlpools are the ‘strange’ ones, and here’s how you can get out of Vertigo after you’re done fishing there.
How to Leave the Vertigo/Whirlpool in Fisch
To return to the main fishing area from Vertigo, you’ll need a Conception Conch.
Purchase this item from the NPC ‘Synth’ located within Vertigo. He will be nearby once you spawn into Vertigo — approach this merchant and buy the Conch kept in his shop. It costs 444C$ so make sure you have that amount when you’re going to Vertigo. If you don’t, the only choice to leave the whirlpool (on the same server) is to have your character die, respawn, and lose more money in the process. You can also leave the game and rejoin.
Equip the Conception Conch in your character’s hand from the Hotbar or the inventory and click on it to activate. This will teleport you back to your original fishing location. It won’t work if you have the fishing rod’s bobber out, so keep it away and try again. Also, stay within the hitbox of the conch to successfully get teleported.
If you’d like to fish in the whirlpool for the Isonade, ensure that you stay on your boat and cast a line from there. In case you jump, you will sink and have to use the Conception Conch to get out. But if you’re already down there, you can visit The Depths, which can be accessed via the door above the red rocks. You need The Depths key for it. Once you obtain it and complete the Vertigo bestiary, you can unlock the door and proceed to the new fishing area.
Aside from Vertigo and The Depths, the Conception Conch can be used to return to your resting point from Desolate Deep — it’s available for sale near the Merchant. In case you’ve traveled to the middle of the Ocean on a random player’s boat and you wish to go back, you can use the Conch in this scenario as well. By default, you will go to Moosewood, but if you’ve spent money by talking to an Innkeeper, you will be taken to that destination.
