This gun is called the Lachmann Sub in Modern Warfare 2 and is almost a must-pick for close to mid range combats especially because of the high fire-rate. Now, in order to unlock the Lachmann Sub MP5, you must follow a few a steps:
- Firstly, you will need to reach Rank 16 by progressing in the game. You can do this by grinding in the multiplayer modes.
- At Level 16, you will get the Lachmann-762 Battle Rifle as part of the rewards which opens up the Lachmann weapons pipeline.
- Equip and use the Lachmann-762 in matches until you advance it to Level 16. At this point, you will receive the LM-16 Receiver in the game.
- Head to the Gunsmithing options and you will be able to transform the Lachmann-762 into a Lachmann-556 Assault Rifle.
- Back to grinding levels, but this time you need to advance the Lachmann-556 Assault Rifle to a Level 12. This will give you access to the Lach-9 Receiver.
- Now, you can go back to the Loadout menu and switch the Assault Rifle’s Receiver with Lach-9 that you just unlocked. This iteration of the Lachmann makes up for the basic form of an MP5.
- The Loadout tab will now give you the option to use the Lachmann Sub MP5 that you just unlocked.
