Style Chips are used to unlock clothing in Knockout City. Each clothing item has a requirement of 1 Style Chip to unlock that particular item. However, this mechanic gets unlocked pretty late in the game, Level 7 to be exact. So you will have to spend a decent amount of time figuring the game out before you get any closer to those drippy new outfits. You can also unlock various styles for a particular outfit in the game. How to get Style Chips in Knockout City
You can get Style Chips using the Street Rank Battle Pass. Style Chips are unlocked once you get to Level 7 in the game. There are 10 levels of the Street Rank Battle Pass with each level having Style Chips as rewards.
As of now, the Battle Pass is the only way to get Style Chips in the game. Going ahead you might be able to purchase them using Holobux.

If you want to cash in your Style Chips, you can use them to upgrade your outfits once you are done purchasing outfits from the game store using Holobux. Once you complete 100 levels in the game you will get a total of 16 Style Chips. Once you get to another Tier you will have more chances of earning Style Chips. Luckily every upgrade requires only 1 Style Chip to make the necessary changes.
