Killer Instinct Tier List

Updated Date :

If you want the best characters, then take a look at our Killer Instinct Tier List. The one-on-one fighting game borrows inspiration from the attack set of Street Fighter and finishing moves from Mortal Kombat. In online multiplayer, players will need to choose the strongest characters to win. However, with close to 29 characters available – choosing the best characters can be stressful. Luckily, we have come up with a ranking of the strongest characters in the game right now.

Killer Instinct Tier List

best characters in killer instinct

Our Killer Instinct Tier List has ranked down all the characters in the game with S being the best and D being the worst character.

S Tier

  • Rash
  • Omen
  • Fulgore
  • Aria
  • Thunder

The S Tier includes the most overpowered characters in Killer Instinct. Characters like Rash, Thunder, Omen, Aria, and Fulgore don’t have any major weaknesses and also have the best attacks and skills. They are quite easily the must-have characters for your team.

A Tier Killer Instinct

  • Glacius
  • Aganos
  • Hisako
  • Eyedol
  • Arbiter
  • Tusk

A tier characters in Killer Instinct are quite solid and have great stats. You can depend on them to never let you down in battle. So, in case you don’t have any S Tier character on your team, you can always rely on the A tier.

B Tier

  • Shadow Jago
  • Riptor
  • Spinal
  • Gargos
  • Cinder
  • Maya
  • Eagle
  • Kan-Ra

B-tier characters cannot be relied on to defeat opponents each time. Though they are strong, you will require a lot of skill to use them effectively. Their weaknesses can be exploited, so be careful before taking them to battle.

C Tier

  • Kilgore
  • General Raam
  • Kim Wu
  • Shin Hisako
  • Sadira

All characters under the C tier are below average and have poor stats. There is a huge gap in quality between the C tier and the higher-ranked tiers in the list mentioned above. So, select them only if you have the skills to use them effectively.

D Tier

  • Orchid
  • Sabrewulf
  • TJ Combo

Lastly, the D-tier has the weakest characters in Killer Instinct. You should take them on your team only if you know exactly what you want to do with them. They should be avoided as their abilities are very limited and a hit-and-miss.

That’s everything covered in our Killer Instinct Tier list. We hope that these rankings helped you take the strongest characters to the battlefield. If you are interested in knowing about the rankings of more characters from your favorite games, then head to our Tier List section on Gamer Tweak.
