Digimon Survive is a Visual-Novel, Tactical Survival RPG developed by Hyde & published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. This game is a Visual-Novel with an amazing story of a group of School students going on a Trip and then encountering Digimons & Ghosts. You, the Player, will be playing as Takuma and will be the main character of the Story. As you go on with the Story, you will have to make certain choices. These choices will ultimately change the course of your game. The Karma system keeps a track of what choices you make which in turn changes the path your Digimon will take. In this guide, I will explain what the Karma System is & what it does in Digimon Survive.
Karma System Explained in Digimon Survive
The Karma System in Digimon Survive is responsible for what path your Digimon will take while Digivolving. There are three paths which are Moral, Harmony, & Wrath. Depending on the choice you pick while talking with your Partnered Digimon, will determine the Evolution Path. You can determine which choice is by their color. Here is how they are represented:
- Moral – Red Color (Vaccine Attribute)
- Wrath – Yellow Color (Virus Attribute)
- Harmony – Green Color (Data Attribute)
If you choose the Red option the Digimon will go the Top route, the Yellow option will go the Middle route, & the Green option will go the Bottom route. Depending on the Route the Digimon goes, it will be either Vaccine, Data, or Virus types. The three form a Rock-Paper-Scissor relationship where:
- Virus > Data
- Data > Vaccine
- Vaccine > Virus
So depending on what you are facing & what choices you have taken until now, you can Digivolve your Digimon to the form you choose mid-battle. If you want to check the Karma Rating of your Digimon, you can go to your Profile on your Phone & then check it at the Bottom Right of the screen.
