Chivalry 2 is a multiplayer hack and slash action video game developed by Torn Banner Studios and published by Tripwire Interactive. This game allows one to relive the Medieval ages of Knights & Warriors. It is a sequel to Chivalry: Medieval Warfare and brings a lot of those elements into a newer form. As it is a multiplayer game, many players have a question brewing in their minds. Is Chivalry 2 Crossplay? In this guide, I will answer this question as well as how to make a party if it supports Crossplay.
Does Chivalry 2 support Crossplay?
Chivalry 2 does indeed support Crossplay but not in the way you think. The true answer is a Yes and a No. The game is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X & Series S. As such players from any of these platforms can play on the same server. But that’s where it ends. As it stands, Chivalry 2 has Crossplay but you cannot party up with your friends from other platforms. The arrival of Crossplay to Chivalry 2 was announced on 11 June 2020. But it gave us Crossplay Matchmaking and not Crossplay Party Making. As such, you and your friends cannot party up if y’all are on different platforms.
Can you Party up in Crossplay?
As it stands, No. But there are a few tricks but they do not guarantee that your friends will end up at your Party. You & your Friends can ready up at the same time and hope that both of you land in the same game. Beyond this, you will need to wait till Torn Banner Studios releases the Patch with the complete Crossplay. If you don’t want to have Crossplay enabled, you can disable it. You can do so by heading to Options Menu and under Settings, and then disable Crossplay. This will disable Crossplay but will increase your Matchmaking time.
