Iron Valiant Weakness In Pokemon Scarlet And Violet

Updated Date :

Iron Valiant is a paradox Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet and to catch it, you must figure out its weakness. For players who are unaware, this game features the brand-new paradox Pokemon as a part of the end-game activities. These variants share similarities with normal Pokemon in terms of their looks. For example, the Iron Valiant looks like a mechanical fusion of Gardevoir and Gallade. However, the paradox variants are powerful, boasting some of the best stats. In this guide, we’ll tell you how to beat the Iron Valiant.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: Iron Valiant Weakness & Counters

Iron Valiant weakness

Iron Valiant is a Fairy-Fighting dual-type Pokemon with weaknesses to the following types:

  • Flying 2x
  • Poison 2x
  • Steel 2x
  • Psychic 2x
  • Fairy 2x

So if you’re planning to battle and catch Iron Valiant, then we recommend you select Pokemon with the above-mentioned types. Corviknight is a Steel and Flying-type Pokemon so it is the best counter against the Iron Valiant. Iron Valiant receives twice damage from both Steel and Flying-type attacks. Apart from Corviknight’s ability to use both, it is resistant to Fairy-type attacks. That gives you a better chance against the valiant.

Alternatively, you can use a Revavroom against it. This Pokemon too is a dual-type and can use Steel and Poison attacks. Similarly, you can go with a Tinkaton, which is a Fairy Steel dual-type. Iron Valiant has weaknesses against both these dual types. Make sure you’re not using Dragon-type attacks as it is immune to them.

Iron Valiant Stats

Here are all the Iron Valiant base stats:

  • HP: 74
  • Attack: 130
  • Defense: 90
  • Sp. Attack: 120
  • Sp. Defense: 60
  • Speed: 116

As you can notice, this Pokemon has high Attack and Sp. Attack stats. Moreover, it also boasts incredible speed stats. However, Iron Valiant’s Sp. Defense is the lowest. So we recommend you use attacks like Brave Bird, Gunk Shot, Play Rough, etc. to beat it.
