Where to Find Iron Ore in Once Human
Iron ore, as the name suggests, is abundant in the Iron River location. This region unlocks as you progress through the game, typically around level 22. You will be sent to this area after defeating the Treant boss in the Broken Delta.
What you need to look for specifically are orange tinted rocks. Yes, Iron Ore deposits/nodes have a distinct look—they have orange streaks running through them which makes them easy to spot even at night. Keep an eye out for these as you explore the Iron River area.
However, there’s a particular tool you need to mine Iron Ore in Once Human and that’s the Bronze Pickaxe, so make sure you have a one crafted before you head to Iron River. You’ll unlock the ability to craft it through the Cradle. Open up Cradle, go to Memetics > Infrastructure and unlock Bronze Crafting and Bronze Pickaxes.
The items you require to craft Bronze Pickaxe on a workbench are 7x Bronze Ingots, 5x Logs and 1x Hide. You can get Bronze Ingots from a Furnace, Logs from felling trees and Hide from killing and looting animals.
While heading to Iron River before reaching the recommended level of 22 might be risky, there’s another option. The Digby Boy is a capturable Digby that can be used to mine ore and gather resources for you.
If you manage to capture one, it might bring back iron ore along with other materials while exploring your territory. But the most reliable method is to find and mine it yourself.
With that done, be sure to check out the latest Once Human codes that will give you rewards like Energy Links, Activators and more without any effort. Plus, here’s how to get Refined Parts, change worlds and fix the network error.
