While the game mechanism has certainly improved when it comes to inviting friends, there are still a few things that you will need to remember. Here’s how to Invite Friends & Queue with them in Splatoon 3:

  • One will be Solo and the other one With Friends.
  • Use the D-Pad to head over to With Friends after you select the game mode you want to queue with friends in Splatoon 3.
  • Once you press A, you will be able to play with friends who are online by inviting them.

How to Join Friends & Create a Room in Splatoon 3

When you create a party, you can ask your friends to join it and then play on the same team. Since inviting a friend is not sufficient to get on the same team, this is the best thing to do. Here’s how to Join Friends in Splatoon 3:

  • Again head to the Lobby and then open the match menu by pressing L.
  • Next, select the Private Battle option and then press Y to create a room in Splatoon 3.
  • However, if you want to join your friends instead of creating a room, you need to pull up the match menu and then use the D-Pad to toggle to the With Friends option.
  • Once you do that, you will be able to join any of your friends who are online in the Splatlands.
