Where to get Ingredients
The first thing you need to do while cooking is to get your ingredients sorted out. The easiest way to get ingredients is to visit grocery shops as you move from city to city. You can even find some ingredients from restaurants. These are usually the ones that are a bit harder to obtain.
When you reach the Third Jail you will see a side quest that rewards you with ingredients from Sophia’s Shop. After completing this quest it makes it easier to get ingredients directly from Sophie’s Shop. However, to get certain rare ingredients you will have to complete Requests.
How to Cook
The Cooking capability is unlocked pretty early on in the game. This feature is unlocked after you receive a Request from Sojiro for his Curry and Coffee. After this, you can visit your RV and cook to your heart’s content. You can cook only in your camper and you can’t do that while visiting a Jail.
