To increase Entertainment points in the Happiness Factor, you must fulfill the Leisure demands of your citizens. Just like in real life, it is important that every residential zone has some infrastructure that provides Leisure activities. To add such infrastructures, you first need to unlock the Parks and Recreation Menu after hitting Milestone 4, Grand Village.

Initially, players will have access to smaller parks that are ideal for low-density residential zones. Other buildings in the Parks and Recreation menu are unlocked by spending Development Points. During the initial stages, placing smaller Parks is an ideal way of increasing Entertainment in Cities Skylines 2. If you are building a Park, don’t forget to create a Park Maintenance alongside. It will make sure that your Parks throughout the city are maintained properly.

As the game progresses, you can create Recreation Buildings like Tennis Court, Water Park, Grand Hotel, Botanical Garden, etc. This will ensure that high-density residential zones are performing Leisure activities too. This will help you with increasing Entertainment in areas with more population.

Leisure Stats

Each facility in Parks and Recreation menu has different stats that include Recreation Points and Attractiveness Points.

Recreation Points are higher if the infrastructure is big in size. For instance, a Large Park will have comparatively higher points than a Smaller Park. Also, there are different types of Recreation that include Outdoor, Indoor, and Summer Recreation. This varies depending on the type of building you have built.

And for the Attractiveness stat, it indicates how likely are people to visit the place. A building that provides quality Leisure will always have higher Attractiveness. So that means if you must build exotic Tourist Places and Attractions to increase Entertainment in Cities Skylines 2. Otherwise, you will eventually start observing a decline in Happiness of your Citizens again.

That’s all you can do to provide Leisure and increase Entertainment. For more information, be sure to check out our our other Cities Skylines 2 Guides on Gamer Tweak.
