How these Side Quests Affect the Story
Ciri’s Ending is determined once you have completed the Reason of State Side Quest in Witcher 3. However, you will have to complete the Eye for an Eye, A Deadly Plot, and Redania’s Most Wanted Side quests to unlock the Reason of State. Moreover, Eye for an Eye Side quest also makes Roche and Ves available to help Geralt in the Main Quest, The Battle for Kaer Morhen. Further, the Reason of State is also important as it lets you decide the fates of King Radovid, Dijkstra, Roche, and Emperor Emhyr van Emreis.
After that, players must complete the Side Quest known as A Matter of Life and Death which is important for Geralts’s Ending in Witcher 3.
