How To Import Your Arisen And Pawn In Dragon’s Dogma 2 From Character Creator

Spent hours making the character that looks like just what you envisioned, in the DD2 Character Creator Demo? Well, you should import it instead of creating a new one!

Before the game’s launch, Capcom released a Character Creator & Storage demo for DD2. So if you had been playing around with it, it is only natural that you would want to import the same character in Dragon’s Dogma 2. The good news is you can, and it is quite easy. The best part is it works both for the custom Arisen or Pawn that you must have made, so below are the steps for how you can transfer them both.

Before you can import them, open the Character Creator and select the Arisen or Pawn that you want to transfer over to your game. You have to do this if you made multiple characters. Once done next you launch DD2.

How to Transfer your Arisen from Character Creator in DD2

  1. Start a new game and progress until you get to the scene with the prisoners in their cell.
  2. Here, choose the hooded character that has their back facing towards the screen.
  3. Next, Friska will mention recognizing you here and choose Yes.
  4. The game will now ask whether you wish to use the existing character data for your Arisen, choose Yes again.
  5. Your Arisen character will now be imported.

In case it isn’t working for you then close the game. Go to Steam and make sure both the game and Character Creator have the Steam Cloud save enabled. Try importing your character again and it should work now. Thanks to Reddit user u/Masklein for sharing this solution, you can check their comment here.

Progress the game until you get to the part where you have to import your Pawn. This is easier than Arisen as the game will ask you “Use existing character data to create your pawn?” choose Yes like before. Now, the Pawn will also be imported.

Do note that you can only transfer 1 Arisen and Pawn each, so even if you made multiple Pawns not all of them get carried over.

That is all for how you can import characters in Dragon’s Dogma 2. If you no longer like your character and are looking for a way to start over then you should check out how to delete saves.
