In Escape from Tarkov for Ice Cream Cones quest you’ll have to find three AK-74 5.45×39 6L31 60-round magazines in Raid. And after that, hand them over to Prapor to complete the quest. The quest also comes with two optional objectives, which are to find the TerraGroup employee’s dorm room bunker key. And then locate the following bunker in the woods. However as the objectives are optional, you can always do them later ahead in the game. So for now let’s focus on the possible ways to get three AK-74 60-round magazines. Before you move ahead, make sure you are at least level 9 to start the following quest.
Ways to Get AK-74 5.45×39 6L31 60 Round Magazines
- The very first method to get the 60-round magazines is simply crafting them at the level 2 Lavatory in the player’s Hideout. So simply upgrade your Lavatory and then grab four 30-round AK-74 magazines along with a Kektape duct tape to get 1x 60-round magazines. Repeat the process until you get 2 more 60-round magazines.
- Another method is to look for them in the ZB-014 bunker. However, make sure you have the key to open a locked room that has the possibility of spawning the magazines you are looking for. This bunker is located on the southwest side of the woods. And the room key can be acquired by looting jackets, drawers, and bags of Scavs.
- Players can also find the AK-74 60-round magazines by looting the 5×2, 5×5, or 6×3 weapons boxes and other wooden crates.
- Last but not least, to obtain the magazines you can always defeat Killa, or Sanitar and his guards. As defeating them will not be easy, so make sure you bring your A-game in the battle.
