As we all know, Ubisoft recently announced the new free-to-play Hyper Scape battle royale by surprise, and recently the game was also launched in open beta for those who would like to play the title with mouse and keyboard on PC.
Obviously, as has already been specified, the title in question is about to arrive also on the current consoles, even if the French company has not given any indication on when exactly this will happen.
While until yesterday this remained a mystery, in the past few hours the company has decided to narrow the release date, confirming through a short Twitter post that Hyper Scape will launch for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 by the end of this summer.
“The game will be coming to PS4 and XB1 this summer. If you watch Twitch streams during PC Open Beta with the Twitch extension, you’ll unlock the items in the Battle Pass. Unlocked rewards will be on your account when we launch console this summer,” can be read on the game’s official Twitter account.

We are already in the middle of summer, so players on consoles will not have to wait much longer before actually putting their hands on the title: it is likely that it will not pass more than a few weeks.
Since the new generation consoles will be launched at the end of the current year, Hyper Scape is likely to be released on these too. Of course, Ubisoft has not yet expressed itself in this regard.
Just last night Ubisoft released a new cinematic trailer for Hyper Scape, describing in detail its setting and the central narrative premise.
