You can use the Vex Mind Components by simply handing them over to Ikora Rey, she will in return give you Vex weapon artifacts. The Season of the Undying is kicking off on October 5th and this is when the Vex Mind Components will come in handy.
If you have given Ikora some Vex Mind Components before, she will have simply accepted them without much of a conversation, this is because it is all tied in with the Season of the Undying in Destiny 2.
Make sure that you get as many Vex Mind Components as you can so that it helps you later as you won’t need to find them all over the place.
As the Season of the Undying begins, the Vex Invasion Zone, which is in Hellmouth, on the Moon, is going to be unlocked which will further add to the importance of the Vex Mind Components.
