During the Glass Bridge task in Shrimp Game (which is inspired by the smash hit series Squid game), players will need to use a Glass Tester to complete it. If you don’t want to rely on pure luck to check whether the glass you jump on will break or not, this is the only way to make it to the end. Here’s how to get and use it.
How to Get the Glass Tester in Shrimp Game
The Glass Tester can be purchased from the Shop located in the lobby itself. Walk toward this section and you’ll see a window appear. Click on the Items tab and purchase Glass Tester. When you hover on Glass Tester, the game tells you that you can use this tool to safely cross 1-3 panels, however, it will expire after one use.
As for the price, the Glass Tester costs a whopping 500K and you have to rebuy the item for every game you play.
How to Use the Glass Tester
While getting the item is easy, using the Glass tester is confusing for most players. To use it, click on Glass Tester from the Hotbar at the bottom of the screen (you’ll see it when the round starts) and click on the screen to look at the panels in front of you. Your character will change its pose and the panel that turns green is the one you can jump on!
Since you can use it to cross 1 to 3 panels, it’s best to use it towards the end. In the beginning, follow other players and wait until someone takes a wrong step and falls off the bridge.
If your friend also has a Glass tester, they can use it for the earlier panels and you can help out by using it for the later ones.
Be careful because some players might lie and say they used a glass tester. If they tell you to go ahead but don’t jump themselves, they could be trying to trick you.
