Tips to find Trace Override in Destiny 2 Season of Arrivals

To unlock Umbral Research Level 7 you will need Traces Override. Without this currency, you cannot unlock a higher level where you can focus on upgrading the better quality of armors. Without this Destiny 2 Seasonal currency, you cannot unlock the best engrams.

To get Trace Override you will have to complete bounties. The more you play the more rewards you will unlock and level up. Playing bounties will also rewards you Twisted Energy and Altered Elements. To reach level 7 Umbral Research, you will require 5 Legendary Shards. This unlocks Trace Override, and after unlocking it you will access more improved and high-end engrams. You can access to improved armor focusing engrams that will be available only through Prismatic Recaster.

Trace Override Description:

A component required for improved armor focusing. Guardians who have unlocked this ability can use Trace Overrides to choose the primary stat of armor received from Umbral Engrams.

Only a limited number becomes available each week. Expires at the end of Season of Arrivals.

Drops are limited in Destiny 2 Season of Arrivals. Some require a lot of grinding but keep laying bounties and you will be able to unlock legendary weapons.
