At the start of Black Myth Wukong, there will be a bare minimum health pack that may give you not enough power to deal with bosses. After unlocking the first shrine, you will get Trailblazer’s Scarlet Gourd. A vessel that can hold a potion to restore 100% of your health. There are two ways to refill this Health Gourd in Black Myth Wukong.
Method 1 – Restore Health at the Shrine
The easiest way is to rest at the shrine. More shrines will unlock as you progress in the game. Shrines also act as Fast Travel points in Black Myth Wukong. You can access the Store to buy and sell items as well as access Trailblazer’s gifts or rewards. This is one of the fastest ways to restore health in Black Myth Wukong. Once you have access to the map, you can travel to the nearest shrine and select Rest.
Resting will restore full health and stamina, you can then proceed further for more exploration and boss fight. Black Myth’s Wukongs skill tree provides an option to turn on auto-recovery of health at the cost of focus points. For this, you have to unlock and specific skill, check out the second method to restore full health in Black Myth below.
Method 2 – Unlock Health Recovery Skill
The second way is to unlock the Exhilaration Skill from the Staff Stances skill tree. This skill turns on Health Recovery by consuming focus points. Health recovery starts whenever your talent level increases. It is one of the important skills you must unlock at the very start of the game. As you keep killing enemies, you will earn Will which is a form of XP. And when the XP meters increase you will Level up.
Sparks are Skill points that are rewarded to you by Levelling up, killing bosses, performing some actions for the first time like “Meditate”, etc. Skills are called as Spells in Black Myth Wukong, by using Spark points you can unlock new spells and use them handy during heavy combats. Focus more on unlocking survival skills at the start point, which can give you more health, focus, and stamina.
The monkey king will be using his signature weapon, the Staff throughout the game. This weapon does not attack fast attacks, instead it’s a little slow. So a lot of dodging is required.
