How To Play Solo In Payday 3

Updated Date :

Wondering how to play Payday 3 Solo? Most players are figuring out how to enter the lobby without any of their teammates. Luckily, it is possible to create a Solo lobby, but there’s a catch. You will be completing the entire heist on your own, but there will be Bots (or AI) Teammates around you. Playing with AI squad members is as good as playing single as they won’t be engaging much. So here’s how you can play in a lobby with Bots in Payday 3.

How to Play Solo in Payday 3 (Create Bot Lobby)

To play without any of your friends, follow these steps:

  • While in-game, click on the Play button and select a Heist.

  • After that, change the Lobby Type to ‘Invite Only.’
  • Now, click on the Matchmake button to enter the Loadout screen.
  • From there, click on the Ready button to enter the match Solo.

Of course, by playing Solo, I mean with Bots in Payday 3. There’s no way to remove the AI teammates from your team as of now. But as I said, their existence barely affects your gameplay. If you want to know how, then scroll down below to know.

Is Playing Solo or with Bots the Same in Payday 3?

While in a Bot Lobby, AI teammates will only follow you in a public area. They will stop following you once you enter a hostile area. But once your cover is blown up, they will start rushing toward you and try to kill all the enemies. This means that you will have to complete the entire heist in a stealthy manner. You wanted to play Solo for a challenge in Payday 3 right? Well, here it is.

However, if you look at the brighter side, there won’t be any pressure from your real-life teammates here. You can take as much time as you want to complete the mission.

For now, that’s all you can do to play Solo in Payday 3. If this guide helps you, then make sure to check out our guide on How to Level up Fast. And for more such content, be sure to take a look at our dedicated section for Payday 3 Guides right here at Gamer Tweak.
