  1. Select the Host option on the main menu screen.
  2. Now, invite your friends through their Bethesda account ID.
  3. If you already invited them, press F on your PC to bring up the Friends List.
  4. Select the players that you want to play with in the multiplayer menu and select “Invite Player”.
  5. Redfall has a crossplay feature so you can select the “Add Crossplay Friends” button to add players on different platforms.
  6. Select the difficulty, click Ready, and then select Play Game.

Why Play Co-op Multiplayer in Redfall? (Tips and Tricks)

In Redfall, you can play with three friends i.e. four players in total in the multiplayer co-op mode. The Host selects the difficulty level, so make sure you don’t play with high-level friends. If you’re the Host, then you will retain all the story progression. However, all the players in the lobby will retain the weapons, skills, grave locks, hero levels, and other gear found in the multiplayer lobby. This can be advantageous to farm ammo and other gear before moving on to solo progression.

There is no limit on character selection in the Redfall multiplayer lobby. Meaning, all players can play with a single class in the same lobby. Another advantage of playing co-op with friends is the “trust” mechanic between characters. As you play with certain characters, their trust level upgrades to higher tiers. This will unlock new character dialogues along with certain buffs.
