To learn how to melee in Splitgate, check out the instructions given below:

If you want to melee in Splitgate, you will need to remember that the melee is bound to a specific key in the game. This key will vary across different platforms. If you play Splitgate on a PC, you will find that the melee is bound to the V key. Likewise, the melee is bound to the RS down (Right joystick) for both Xbox as well as PlayStation consoles. However, if you have changed the button layout on your platform, you may find that these keys might not work as you try to melee during a match.

In such a situation, you will need to check which button the melee is bound to manually. This means you will have to head to the Settings menu in the game. From here, you will need to select either Mouse/Keyboard or Controller. This depends on your input device. Once you make the selection, click on Controls. This will bring up a list of all of your Splitgate controls.
With this list, you will be able to determine exactly which key the melee is bound to on your device.

If you are not happy with the melee key, you can also change it. To do so on PC, all you need to do is select the melee option. Once you do so, type in your desired key. Remember to save your new changes. If you use PlayStation or Xbox, you can change the melee button through the controls section.

This is how you can melee in Splitgate. Once you find the button the melee is bound to, you will easily be able to melee during matches.
