How To Install Pixelmon Mod For Minecraft?

How to Install Pixelmon Mod in Minecraft?

The initial thing that you should keep in mind before you install this mod is that you will need a paid java version of Minecraft. Then you are going to need Forge version 1.12.2. This will let you download mods for Minecraft and launch them in the game.

Here is how to download Forge:

  1. Open the Minecraftforge website and download the file.
    download the version of Forge that is the same as your version of Minecraft
  2. Go to the downloaded file and press the ‘Install Client’ option and click ‘OK’ after that.
  3. Next, launch Minecraft & change your profile to ‘forge’.
  4. You should see a Mods menu on the start screen when the game starts.

Once this setup is done, all there is left to do is install the Pixelmon Mod file. Here is how you can get this mod:

  1. Head on to the Pixelmon Generations site.
  2. Under the downloads page find the latest version of the mod that will correspond with your Forge.
  3. Once downloaded, move the file to the mods folder under your Minecraft game folder.
  4. The path should look lilke this: Users > Username > AppData > Roaming > .minecraft.>mods.
  5. Launch the game and select the Pixelmon Mod from the Mods menu on the start screen.
