Unlike common crops, the Urchin Plant cannot be purchased directly from the Seed Shop. The only way to obtain its seeds is from the Gardener Seed Pack, where it has a 10% drop rate. While this chance is not extremely rare, it does require persistence and a bit of luck. You may find yourself opening several packs before obtaining the seed pack and this can be done by completing all of the quests in the Daily Quests section. You can check your dailies via your Garden Guide.

Is it Worth it?

The Urchin Plant is highly valuable. It sells for over 100,000 Sheckles per harvest, and its average value hovers around 111,000+ Sheckles. With a typical weight of about 8 kg, it ranks among the most rewarding plants to have in your garden. The crop has a 0.25% chance of becoming huge, increasing its worth quite a bit.

Since it is multi-harvestable, rare and available for a limited time, it’s definitely worth the effort. A single planting provides long-term returns, which helps offset the effort of acquiring the seed.
