Published Date :

Gold is one of the most valuable resources in Fallout 76 and even more precious then bottle caps. If you want to stack up on your gold bullion resources in the game, then this guide is perfect for you as you will learn how to farm them easily in the game. But as always there are a few requisite things that you will need before you can start farming gold bullion in Fallout 76.

How To Farm Gold Bullion In Fallout 76

Before you start searching wildly in the game, you will need to know that Gold bullion is required to get plans for crafting weapons, armor parts, and other things in Fallout 76. Once you reach a certain point you will be able to trade bottle caps to get gold in return.

To be able to farm gold in Fallout 76, you will first need to complete the main storyline in Fallout 76, once you are done with this find and speak with Smitey in The Wayward south of Vault 76.

Smitey is an NPC that will help you convert bottle caps into gold bars. When you talk to Smitey, he will offer you 50 gold bars in exchange for 3000 bottle caps.

Though this seems like you can keep on doing this however much you want, the developers have set a limit and you can only get up to 300 gold bars in exchange for 9000 bottle caps.

If you have the Fallout 76 Wastelanders expansion there are other ways in which you can get your hands on the gold in the game, you will need to complete the daily faction quests and public events.

These offer a good amount of gold that you can stack up in Fallout 76. Completing these faction quests will reward you with treasury notes and each one of them will fetch you 10 gold bars in return.

If you want more, you will have to visit the Gold Press Machine in the faction camps to get additional gold bars in Fallout 76. There is a cap limit of about 200 gold bars that you can earn in Fallout 76.

Once you have enough of these gold bars, you will need to visit Vault 79 and exchange them for plans, the plans can range from a price of 50 to 250 gold bars depending on what you’re looking for.

Or you could always sell gold bars at a premium to other players in Fallout 76. This is all there is to know about how to farm gold in Fallout 76. Make sure that you check out other guides on Fallout 76 as well.
