How to Obtain the Midas Rod in Roblox Fisch
The Midas rod can be unlocked by purchasing it from the Travelling merchant who can randomly spawn at any location. You will be notified of his location at the top of the screen, after which you can hop on a boat to get to the spot, or stay where you are if he’s right there! The only ‘problem’ is that this rod is expensive, making it out of reach of newer players.

The Midas rod costs 55,000C$ which can be achieved if you farm Mythical fish at some of the best fishing spots. Some players even opt to use macros to AFK farm fishing, but we recommend you be cautious with using third-party programs on Roblox.
Once you have earned the required amount of money, simply jump onto the boat of the Traveling merchant, and interact with the fishing rod to buy it. It has a 60% chance to apply the Midas mutation on any fish you catch which is great. With this mutation, fish appears gold (hence its name) and provides a 2x (+100%) value increase.
Due to its low resilience, without the Resilient enchant, it is tough to catch bigger and heavier fish with the Midas rod. However, with the enchant added, the stat goes up to 15% and it can be further boosted with baits that provide extra resilience.
