How to Get Stygian Stone in Diablo 4

Published Date :

After the new update, players looking to max out their builds are looking for rare and power items such as Stygian Stones. These precious artifacts grant extraordinary changes to get Uber Uniques, offering the best chance for a build upgrade in the endgame. In this article, we will look at how to get Diablo 4 Stygian Stones and their uses in the game.

How to Get Diablo 4 Stygian Stone

Stygian Stones in Diablo 4 are rare and valuable items crucial in summoning Tormented versions of Uber Bosses, such as Andariel. These powerful enemies are significantly more powerful than their regular level 100 counterparts, clocking in at level 200, and offer a more significant challenge for players seeking Uber Uqiques.

To get Diablo 4 Stygian Stones, players can engage in various activities within the game:

  1. Completing The Pit of the Artificers dungeons: This dungeon offers Stygian Stones as a reward upon successful completion, making it a reliable source for these rare items.
  2. Defeating World Bosses at World Tier 4 (Torment): Stygian Stones can also drop from World Bosses when playing at World Tier 4: Torment. If you are under level 100, teaming up with other players can help you take on these World Boss encounters more frequently and increase your chances of acquiring the Stygian Stones.

Once you’ve acquired Stygian Stones, you can use them to summon Tormented Bosses by combining them with the regular materials required for their standard versions. For example, to summon the Tormented version of any Uber Boss in Diablo 4, you need 2x Stygian Stones and 3x the regular materials required for that specific boss.

How to Get Diablo 4 Stygian Stone

All Tormented bosses have a chance to drop Uber Uniques. However, the drop rates vary, with Duriel and Andariel having the highest chance. The Tormented versions of bosses generally drop more loot, with about 5x the number of uniques and a higher chance for Uber Uniques than their regular counterparts. So, by spending 3x materials for a Tormented boss, you have a better chance of obtaining an Uber Unique than killing a regular Uber boss three times.

When using Stygian Stones in Diablo 4 for summoning, it’s worth considering their effectiveness for specific bosses, as not all encounters may provide the same value. For instance, Duriel and Andariel have an estimated 2% chance to drop Uber Uniques, which makes using Stygian Stones on these bosses particularly appealing and potentially more rewarding.

However, it’s essential to remember that drop rates and chances are based on estimates and can vary. Even though the chances may be lower for other bosses, by summoning the tormented version of a boss, there is still a possibility of obtaining good Uber Uniques from them. So, it’s up to you to decide how you want to use your Stygian Stones and for summoning which bosses, as per uniques, you want to focus on. List of Uber Uniques Chance By Bosses

Here are all the Uber Uniques in Diablo 4:

  • ‍Ahavarion, Spear of Lycander (Druid, Sorcerer)
  • ‍Andariel’s Visage (All Classes)
  • ‍Doombringer (Barbarian, Necromancer, Rogue)
  • Harlequin Crest (All Classes)
  • Melted Heart of Selig (All Classes)
  • ‍Ring of Starless Skies (All Classes)
  • ‍The Grandfather (Barbarian, Necromancer)
  • ‍Tyrael’s Might (All Classes)

To maximize the benefits of your Diablo 4 Stygian Stone summons, it’s crucial to understand the specifics of each boss’s loot table. While Duriel and Andariel have the highest chances of dropping Uber Uniques, other bosses also have less chance to drop these powerful items.

Each boss has a unique loot table with increased probabilities of dropping certain Unique items. For example, Lord Zir has a higher chance of dropping ‍a two-handed unique mace called Overkill (for Barbarian) and ‍Esadora’s Overflowing Cameo unique amulet (for Sorcerer), while Echo of Varshan is more likely to reward players with Ring of the Sacrilegious Soul unique ring (for Necromancer) and Airidah’s Inexorable Will unique ring (for Druid).

Moreover, some bosses share the same unique items in their loot tables. To optimize your Stygian Stone usage, check whether your desired item can be obtained from multiple bosses. Doing so lets you focus on using your Diablo 4 Stygian Stone on tormented bosses, offering the highest chances of obtaining the specific uniques you want.
