If you’re looking to purchase things like eggs, seeds, or cosmetics from the Halloween Market of the Grow a Garden’s Ghoul Garden update, you need the special event currency called Candy Corn. Here’s how you can get it so that you don’t miss out on limited-time items.
How to Get Candy Corn in Grow a Garden
There are two ways to get Candy Corn: by filling the Witch’s Cauldron and by interacting with the Pumpkin NPC.
For the first method, you need to submit plants to the Witch’s Cauldron at the center of the map. Interact with the NPC, and select the option of giving her a specific Held plant or submitting all the plants in your inventory. The higher the value of the plants you submit, the more points you add to the Cauldron (as seen on the leaderboard next to it).
Here are the points you get for various rarities of crops:
- Common – 1 Point
- Uncommon – 2 Points
- Rare – 3 Points
- Legendary – 4 Points
- Mythical – 5 Points
- Divine – 6 Points
- Prismatic – 7 Points
- Transcendent – 8 Points
You also get points for giving Silver, Gold and Rainbow variants:
- Silver Variants – 1 Point
- Gold Variants – 2 Points
- Rainbow Variants – 3 Points
Apart from this, you can also give crops to the Jack-o-Lantern Pumpkin NPC. It appears for 10 minutes every 2 hours and when you give it a Halloween plant (such as a Bloodred Mushroom) or a plant with a Halloween mutation (eg, Vamp) on it, the NPC will give you a small amount of Candy Corn. If you’re luckier, you might get a Spooky Egg or a Pumpkin Crate directly.
Since the Pumpkin NPC appears less frequently, filling up the Witch’s cauldron is the best option to farm Candy Corn fast in Grow a Garden. To collect a good amount, you will need to be in-game for a while, keep harvesting crops and submitting them to fill the cauldron over and over again.
