How to Defeat Bassus in Halo Infinite – Boss Fight Guide

In order to defeat Bassus in Halo Infinite, try to keep your distance from him constantly throughout the fight. This is because of the fact that he is armed with a Gravity Hammer.

Once you manage to keep a decent distance between yourself and Bassus, we recommend you use a plasma weapon. Using this weapon will help you penetrate past his shields. Since these shields take a long time to regenerate, keep shooting every now and then in order to stop the shields from recharging.

During the battle, you will notice a room with some Fusion Coils on the floor. You will find this room a little behind where the fight actually begins. As Bassus approaches you, you should hurl the Coils towards him. Doing so will significantly affect his health, allowing you to move away from him.

You will find more Fusion Coils towards the left of the control panel in the same room where the fight begins. You will also find plasma weapon ammunition refills along with a few other weapons here too.

Keep firing at Bassus, and you will eventually see him run out of health and drop dead. And that’s it. With these simple steps, you will be able to easily defeat and get rid of Bassus in this boss fight in Halo Infinite. As you can see, doing so is quite easy. Just remember to follow the instructions in this guide, and you should be good to go!
