Cooking is an important activity that becomes available to players after they upgrade their Farmhouse for the first time. This upgrade adds a kitchen to your house which contains a stove and a refrigerator. You can interact with the stove to access your recipes and your item list. Luckily, the refrigerator ties into your inventory list making it easier to access items.
Eating food items even afford you certain upgrades. There are even limited-time ‘buffs’ that are applied when you consume certain food items. However buffs replace each other, so if you eat another item the boosts of the earlier one will disappear.
Qi Seasoning can be purchased from Qi’s Walnut room. Using this seasoning gives food a gold level, increasing its health level and selling price. It is also profitable to sell your food items as they net you a good sum in return.
When you cook a certain amount of recipes you even unlock Achievement levels,
- Cook (Cook 10 different recipes)
- Sous Chef (Cook 25 different recipes)
- Gourmet Chef (Cook every recipe)
