How to Complete Chocobo Search FF7 Remake Side Quest

In Final Fantasy 7 Remake, you can unlock Fast Travel point later in the game by completing a side quest. Called as Chocobo Search, in this side quest, you will have to find three lost Chocobo birds in Sector 5 Slums. The quest is pretty easy to complete and unlocks Sams’ Delivery lifetime pass. This will allow you to travel between various locations, similar to fast travel points. So let’s begin with the Chocobo Search FF7 Remake guide.

All Three Chocobo Locations in FF7 Remake

FF7 Remake Chocobo Search Side Quest

To start the Chocobo Search quest talk to the guy in Center District. He is standing with a Chocobo crying for help. Find this guy first and just talk to him, check the above map screenshot for this exact location. He will beg you to find his birds. This is not a fixed place if you spot a similar man with red hat talks to him. This will unlock Sams’s Delivery Service, the fast travel point option. Each service cost around 300 Gil. Next are the three Chocobo locations. You will also have to fight a few monsters in the slum region.

Chocobo 1 Map Location:

The first one is Nuts ‘n’ Bolts hills next to Scrapyard Back Alley. Towards the northwest region. From the last location, you will have to head straight to the Northside of the Sector 5 Slum region. Find this bird will unlock the following fast travel points.

  • Sector 5 Undercity Station
  • Steel Mountain (Boarding only)

Chocobo 2 Map Location:

For the second Chocobo go to Sanctuary Way, the bird is standing below a shed. Just follow the map location to reach the second Chocobo. Find the second Chocobo and unlock the below fast travel point.

  • Sector 5 Slums – Church area.

For the last and final Chocobo location, you can use Sam’s delivery service to go to Collapsed Expressway – Entrance. The path to finding the bird is straight, after reaching the entrance of the Collapsed Expressway, cross the tunnel to reach the crashed place. Continue walking on the broken road towards North, there will be stairs at the corner that will help you to pass. After crossing a narrow passage continue walking till you see a crashed red pipe. Just a little ahead you will find the bird. Finding the last Chocobo will unlock the below fast travel points.

  • Sector 6 Slums – Evergreen Park
  • Wall Market – Urban Advancement District
  • Collapsed Road (Boarding Only).

After locating all three Chocobo bird return to Sam and you will unlock Sam’s delivery lifetime pass. You can now fast travel to various places using this point.
