However, collecting the coconuts in Grow a Garden can be quite a hassle! The trees can grow tall (vertically or bend sideways), and depending on how your tree looks, it can be challenging to harvest every fruit. Luckily, there are a few tricks to make it happen.
How to Collect Coconuts in Grow a Garden
If it’s a slanted tree, getting the Coconuts is easier. All you need to do is approach it by jumping and moving forward to get to its leaves. This can be tougher to do with straight trees, and so, here are a few other methods to try:
Using Bamboo as a Ladder
Bamboo plants can be climbed, making them ideal for reaching high places. It’s a single-harvest crop, and its seed costs 4000. It is not very common to see it in Sam’s Seed Shop, so if you do, grab it as soon as possible. Because it’s a single harvest crop, you may accidentally harvest it while collecting nearby fruits, so be careful. You can use the Favorite Tool to prevent this from happening. Plant the seed in a way that helps you climb it and jump to the top of the Coconut tree.
Utilizing Nearby Trees
Your garden layout is of the utmost importance here. Plant smaller, climbable trees (e.g., apple trees) near your coconut tree so that you can use them as a ‘staircase’ to get to the Coconuts.
Using the Harvest Tool
The developers have added a Harvest Tool that costs 30,000,000 Sheckles, and it will help you highlight a particular plant or tree and harvest all fruits from it. This saves time and helps you get everything. You won’t miss a hard-to-reach Coconut, especially if it has stacked mutations. Note that this Harvest tool only has 5 uses and after that, you will have to re-purchase it from the Gear shop by spending the same amount.
