Where to Find Chinfish in Fisch?
Chinfish can be obtained from Sunstone Island. More specifically, go around the stone structure of the island and the Fish Radar should show you the area marked for the Chinfish. However, if the conditions aren’t as needed, you will have difficulty catching this fish.
There are no time requirements to catch a Chinfish — you can fish during the day or night. But the weather should be rainy, and the season should be either Autumn or Winter. Thankfully, any bait is okay so you don’t have to worry about having a specific one.

Since it’s not a rare fish, you will see a red exclamation mark above your character’s head when you’ve hooked a Chinfish in Fisch. Then, simply complete the fishing mini-game and you will have the fish you’re looking for.
In case you don’t want to wait for Rainy weather, you can use the Tempest Totem which costs 2000 C$. It activates and forces rain in the server and can be used only once. For the next time, you have to find and buy it again. You can locate it in Terrapin Island, in a secret room which can be accessed by jumping into the water near the pier and finding an underwater cave. Swim ahead until you reach the rocky room and you can buy the totem from there.
