As you level up in Arcane Odyssey, there will come a time when you can awaken your character. Based on their build this will allow you to get a second magic. And each Awakening build gives you certain benefits which makes them worth going the extra mile. So without further ado, here is how you can get second magic in Arcane Odyssey and how all awakening builds work.
How to Awaken in Arcane Odyssey to Get Second Magic
You can awaken your character by going to Poseidon’s Altar at Mount Othrys when you reach level 120 in the game. Depending on your character’s build you may also get a second magic. But there are only 4 awakening builds that let you get a second magic. These Builds are:
- Savant
- Paladin
- Mage
- Warlock
In case you are not level 80 yet then you should get your build changed to any of the above 4 to get a second magic. So assuming you have any of the above builds here is what you have to do:
- Beat King Calvus before you reach level 120.
- Next, go and talk to Ren.
- They will tell you to meditate at 3 different locations, these are:
- Waterfall: You can find it at Sandfall Isle.
- Silent Cave: You can find it at Ancient Cave.
- High Peak: You can find it at the Southern Jaws.
- After meditating, go to Mount Othrys. The caves here will be completely dark use a lantern to find your way and climb up to the top.
- Once you reach Poseidon’s Altar, talk to his statue and a cutscene will play.
- After it, you will awaken and get to choose your second magic.
You can awaken for the second time when you reach level 250. Do remember that when you awaken for the first time, your class and build will get locked to your character.

How All Awakening Builds Work
Here are all the builds and what perks you get when you awaken them twice. These builds are decided based on your stats before you awakened for the first time.
- Savant
- 1st Awakening: Extra skill slot (Can be fighting or magic).
- 2nd Awakening: You get to imbue magic into your weapons and fighting styles.
- Paladin
- 1st Awakening: You get an extra Magic slot. Spells in this slot will need additional 100 magic.
- 2nd Awakening: 10% damage reduction.
- Mage
- 1st Awakening: You get an extra Magic slot. Spells in this slot will need additional 200 magic.
- 2nd Awakening: Another magic slot.
- Warlock
- 1st Awakening: You can imbue magic into your fighting styles.
- 2nd Awakening: Extra skill slot (Can be fighting or magic).
- Juggernaut
- 1st Awakening: You get an extra Fighting slot. Skills in this slot will need additional 70 strength.
- 2nd Awakening: 10% damage reduction.
- Knight
- 1st Awakening: Weapon aura.
- 2nd Awakening: 10% damage reduction.
- Warden
- 1st Awakening: 10% damage reduction.
- 2nd Awakening: Another 10% damage reduction.
- Berserker
- 1st Awakening: You get an extra Fighting slot. Skills in this slot will need additional 90 strength.
- 2nd Awakening: Another fighting slot.
- Conjurer
- 1st Awakening: You can imbue magic into your weapons.
- 2nd Awakening: Extra magic skill slot.
- Warlord
- 1st Awakening: You can imbue fighting styles into weapons.
- 2nd Awakening: Extra fighting skill slot.
- Warrior
- 1st Awakening: Weapon aura.
